This particular course is split into two so that it can appeal to both beginners and experienced Baristas.
If you are new to Barista skills you can attend a full day:
From 9am to 12pm – This part of the course is for people who are new to Latte art and have limited Barista skills. During the day our trainer will breakdown the process of producing Latte art into stages. This will include perfecting your milk technique and understanding the milk chemistry behind producing great latte art. These stages are put back together in the afternoon to enable your to free pour hearts, rosettas and leafs. The course is very hands on giving you lots of practice time. You will learn how to steam/texture milk correctly using the right technique to prepare you to produce Latte Art.
Break from 12 – 1pm
If you are already a Barista and confident with your milk technique :
You may just want to attend a ½ day course learning just the free pouring technique.
From 1pm to 4pm – To attend just this part of the course you will need to be able to steam milk correctly and be confident with your technique. This part of the course will just focus on free pouring Latte Art. Our aim is to teach you everything you need to be doing to produce latte art for rosettas, leafs, hearts etc. All you will need to do then is practice to perfect your art.
Dear London School of Coffee,
I just completed the 3 day 'How to Start a Roastery' course and I want to thank you for organising such an interesting, enjoyable course.
The content was interesting and presented by Morten Munchow in a compelling, engaging way. The organisation supporting him was exemplary in that everything from beautiful lunches to expensive machinery was seamlessly provided with no fanfare and no fuss. I can only imagine the team that made this possible so I would like to express my gratitude to them for a job very well done.
